If we had the chance to buy pitch 2 and some of it surrounding land it's something we should consider. Land is tough to come by and it's probably already graded for the UCL

I'm sure it was something that was put to Keith at 1 of the meetings and he didn't like the idea. I dont think I could stand and watch football that close to nene park as it would be heart breaking. I agree that our future lies away from nene park! And would we be using strikers as our club house! I will use my vote as a no to nene park!

have to agree, there is no way on earth that I would step back into Nene Park or any of the complex while KC still has his fingers in the pie.
New start New home for me 8-)

however NP is a ready build home, a good option could be to buy pitch 2 from KC to completely remove him from the equation

The purchase of pitch 2 is one thing to consider but would you trust dealing with Bonnie + Clyde?

I can see the logic of having pitch 2 as a new home, however whether we owned it or leased it, we'd be lining the pocket of the architect of our demise. The irony of having to buy the ground from the man we gave it to is not a nice thought, and one I'm not prepared to countenance. It's a no from me, we should start anew elsewhere and hope that KC never makes a penny from his ill-goten gains.

Here here !! I'm still bitter about it, I know I should let it go, but I can't !! The "support K*ttering at NP" bit finished me off !! My preference would be for a complete move away.

We must stay in East Northants/Wellingborough though, otherwise what is the point in reforming? I would love us to go back to the Nene Park complex, but not with KC owning it, or the scum squatting at the main stadium.

Good to see you're still lurking on the board Pressman and keeping abreast of all things AFC. Hope you're keeping well, get yourself down to a game sometime, be good to catch up with you

Great post. I just think we should consider all available options before choosing what's going to be our best option for the future of the club. I have no doubt none of us want to line KC's pockets, but it must be a business decision for our mutual good. He's already had the site for a song, maybe it's time he sang a little bit as well? Maybe that's just wishful thinking?
I'm looking forward to the meeting and the options being presented to us.
