Not far away from the inevitable "We'll walk the conference" from Wobblers supporters. What they don't realise if they go down, the sh*t has only just begun, can't wait to see them lose at Alfreton or Braintree

I have heard most fans believe if they go down they will do a Mansfield/Wrexham/Cambridge/York/Luton and not return.. Interestingly, Rushden weren't mentioned. haha

We don't get a mention because we're not a "proper" League side, we just flirted with it for a few years until the money ran out. I often wonder what might of happened had we managed to stay up in League 1 the year Max pulled out - things might have been so different.

Whilst its a great laugh wallowing in our near neighbours pain (both of them :D ) lets not forget we have our own problems to worry about and the last laugh may be theirs.

I still think out of the 3 games they have left the Knobblers will get enough points to survive, they'll probably do it against Stockport, much as it pains me to say it.......but I live in hope, it'd be great to see them down here next season, providing we're still here of course.

Monday will be key. I wouldn't write off Stockport to record the result we want, their win today will have them buzzing (although I feel they are down regardless).

I believe that if come the end of Monday they are in that relegation place, they'll go down.

Stockport's last 4 home games read (the most recent first):

Quite right Jim.

The gme at Stockport is one of the biggest in cobs history but I think they'll get a result there and be safe.

However, it is closer to home that we should be concerned with. No Conference Board decision yet - why? Administration rumours still flying around - and will the players be paid on time this week?

With respect Chris I am still very much aware of our own problems and I am worried but this thread is a useful distraction to have, which is needed from time to time. I still maintain that their relegation would benefit us if we can sort ourselves out in the immediate short term.
