I'm sure STAGMAN would know more than me, but there used to be an Antiques Fair in the S&EC. It used to be really well supported, but the costs had to keep being put up because the cost the rent out the facility was getting too high. We did Lamport Hall antiques fair a few weeks ago. It was a two day event(Sunday +Monday) as it was a Bank Holiday weekend.. I was only there on the Sunday, but over 1500 people came through the gates to look round @ £3.50 each ish. I don't know how many went on the Monday. There was also over 65 stalls at £50+ for the two days.

------------------------

I've done some research on Football Programme Fairs. Most only charge £10 to have a stall and £2 to get in. For the effort, I don't think it is worthwhile of trying to sort one out.

------------------------

I remember when I used to collect the Premier League stickers when they do the Swap Shops, there was never anything local. I know Topps are located in Milton Keynes. I'll have a nose. None of these are short term solutions, though.

Dave King was the gentleman that used to have the Antique fairs at Nene Park, the problem now is the Car Boot which is on Sundays as well, people only want to pay car boot prices then. The only real place for a fair is in the Sports centre because it is no fun lugging boxes up and down stairs especially when a lot of dealers are near or past retirement age. But if some one wnted to orgainse one i will help all i can but don,t forgt you have to provide the tables for the dealers, i hve a lot of contacts in this world . if you could offer the dealers a stall at about £20- £25 and charge about a pound per person to get in you should be ok . A saturday is always a possibilty so as not o clash with the car boot

Do you all really want this to work?

Re Mortgage your house - Sell your car - Sell your wife on the streets - Pawn the family jewels

Don't just WAIT for others to bale the club out with your "I've put in a Fiver' I would do more"

Its time to put up or shut up.... waiting for MAX or Keith to do it for you, then whinge. Thats the reason why I don't come on here that often.

You are all vocal, but really want the other fellow to cough up the dough.

I saw from afar................I did my bit, I paid, I gave my Twitter time and retweeted etc, now its your turn.

KC hasn't got a bottomless pit.

DO YOUR BIT - THEN DO MORE - THEN MORE STILL

And don't forget, Dave, the £125k schedule of dilapidations that Peter Wilson, the landlord, is trying to charge the Club.

Everone wants their feet in the trough...... because NENE PARK STADIUM is an asset..........if this all goes tits up, await the VULTURES circling the remains. IMHO this has always been the 'end game', its just taken longer than even I thought possible.

ASSET STRIP THE LOT

The club don't own Nene Park, KC does and if the club goes bust the land is still his. There is nothing left to strip, that was all done years ago.

I'm sure a nice big Tesco's will pop up and KC will make a lot of money. Anyway the point is that there is nothing left to strip that's already been done years ago. Now lets get on and try and save this club.
