Yesterday I saw Dominic Brennan playing for Quorn in the Midland Football League Premier (Step 5).

Assuming he hasn't already played for Daventry in the Hillier Cup (and I can't be arsed to check if he has) then he's eligible to play for either us or Cogenhoe. He couldn't play for both though as he'd be cup tied after playing the first game.sussexdiamond wrote: Tue Sep 26, 2017 6:33 pmBartonRaz wrote: Tue Sep 26, 2017 2:39 pm Matt Finlay transfers his UCL registration from Daventry to Cogenhoe.
So does he qualify to play for Diamonds and Cogenhoe in the Hillier Cup? I would have expected him to play v St Neots next week in League Cup and the following week in the Hillier v Whitworths.
I take it the rule about playing for no more than two clubs in one season doesn't apply at this level?davealbon wrote: Wed Sep 27, 2017 12:25 pmAssuming he hasn't already played for Daventry in the Hillier Cup (and I can't be arsed to check if he has) then he's eligible to play for either us or Cogenhoe. IIRC a player can't play for more than two clubs in the same league system, i.e. he could play for two UCL clubs, and two Southern League clubs.BartonRaz wrote: Wed Sep 27, 2017 1:05 pmI take it the rule about playing for no more than two clubs in one season doesn't apply at this level?davealbon wrote: Wed Sep 27, 2017 12:25 pmAssuming he hasn't already played for Daventry in the Hillier Cup (and I can't be arsed to check if he has) then he's eligible to play for either us or Cogenhoe.
