Technical issue at the moment, I'm working on it.

Its times like these when local rivalries count for absolutly nothing at all and you realise what a tight-knit community non league football really is.
My sincere condolances to Dale's familly, friends, team mates and the supporters of RDFC. As has been mentioned before everytime we played you Dale would take banter in good sprit and allways turned to applaud us K*ttering fans at the end of the game. He stood out as the best keeper i have seen play for you and by all accounts was a great guy aswel. Football has lost one of its good young men.
Rest in peace Dale
A Poppies fan

Not only the non league, football fans in general. I've seen this posted on nearly every football forum I've seen in the past day, Man Utd, Liverpool etc.

RIP big man, heaven's got a 'keeper to be proud of. You'll always be our hearts.
Absolutely devastated by this news. He was a great supporter of Radio Diamonds and was always up for coming for a chat, lovely, lovely bloke. Gutted.
You'll be missed. Same age as me, it breaks your heart.

Exeter City fan here:
I have fond memories of being in the same league as Diamonds as I'm only down the road in Peterborough. Just wanted to express my sympathy after the tragic news. City fans know only too well what you as fans are going through but of course the bigger tragedy is for Dale's family and I hope everyone respects their feelings during this sad time.
We retired Adam Stansfield's No 9 shirt for 9 years which felt like a fitting tribute to the man who was undoubtably loved by all the fans, who had been with the club some years and who was also local. I'm sure in time you will decide how you want to remember Dale permanently but now is probably not the time.
RIP Dale
