Time For Action
Re: Time For Action
another thought i've had guys and I know people are already talking about a spurs legends game but Keith is in some way connected to John Terry isn't he? If so, surely if Keith could get him involved they could get a team of ex pros together, a team of top names that people in the area would pay to see? Even a celebrity team vs ex pros would work like they do for live aid each year?
Again, just thinking outload. The pros will be finishing the season and going on their holidays and probably wouldn't be insured so thats why I say ex-pros, i'm sure that John and maybe even Keith have some useful contacts that could set up a team for a one off game?
I'm not sure what interest there would be, I guess it depends on the calibre of names involved but could raise a large sum and be a good occassion. Not to mention the proceeds from bucket collections on the day etc.
What do people think? Oh and apologies if its been mentioned elsewhere.

thats a good idea zippy,as they say sometimes it,s not what you know but who you know. anythings worth ago maybe even je would play,or you could even do an auction for a fan or two to play some part of the game :?: ,it maybe worth asking keith to use his contacts
Re: Time For Action
agreed Smiggy. Maybe someone from the elected commitee could mention it to Keith?

I don't honestly think John Terry will help considering his brother.

all the more reason to surely? unless of course we think he condones it......then again, yeah ok.
Maybe their are others other than JT just that he gets mentioned the most because he's the most high profile.

Stevie G is looked after by Wasserman Media Group which i don't think KC has any ties to unfortunately. Two of Diamonds wrote:If not JT how about Steven Gerrard, I believe he's one of KC's ?
