Re: Former Players
Very loose reference to a former player as Fernando Bell-Toxtle is at Basford, but i've just seen on Twitter that Basford's player and staff budget is rumoured to be £4,000 per week, which is more than half of Accrington Stanley's weekly budget. How on earth is that sustainable long-term?

Re: Former Players
I realise yours is a rhetorical question but the simple answer is " it isn't " . If Beaconsfield, AFC Du stable or CSP get promoted they will struggle financially in the medium to long term. It is a fact of footballing history that a rich benefactor will always tire or run out of money. Billericay are rapidly heading that way.BartonRaz wrote: Tue Apr 03, 2018 9:27 am Very loose reference to a former player as Fernando Bell-Toxtle is at Basford, but i've just seen on Twitter that Basford's player and staff budget is rumoured to be £4,000 per week, which is more than half of Accrington Stanley's weekly budget. Re: Former Players
Is Nabil still an Alfreton player? They are in real danger of relegation so may need to recall him.

Re: Former Players
Not a former player, but former Lincoln City defender Bradley Wood has been banned from football for 6 years after intentionally getting himself booked in the games against Burnley and Arsenal during Lincoln’s FA Cup run last season.
He featured in both FA Cup ties against us for Alfreton earlier this season.
