Putting the "where is it now" question aside, I think this does call into question how well the administrator / liquidator did their job. Any assets, whatever their value, should have been sold off in order to realise as much money as possible to pay back creditors.

Football fans have always been prepared to buy memorabilia, so there's no argument to say these sorts of things are worthless - and indeed "match worn" shirts etc were always seen to have more value.

K*ttering clearly have no shame if they are prepared to wear kit with their ex-rivals badge.

I have spoken to Helen Thompson about this just before Christmas and she assures me there is a lot of memorabilia still at NP and it is safe (exactly what I don't know). Max and a few others will have the opportunity to have some of this (rightly so) and there was then talk of certain items being passed to Rushden Museum for safe keeping, hopefully we will see this happen in the fullness of time.

Helen has already passed some old Diamonds kit to me after being released by the administrator, it is currently in boxes and bags in my garage awaiting me to go through it and catalogue what we have, I just haven't had the time to do it yet, but don't get too excited, there wasn't much, but it did include some old "named" (I'm presuming match worn) shirts. I was told there may be some more items to come.

If any of our heritage was disposed of as suggested then that is unforgiveable, an act of vandalism. I too have been told of things that were skipped, but hopefully we'll find that it wasn't anything too important.

I can confirm that the administrator did not make the decision to skip stuff. He may have released it as being of no monetary value, however another individual took the decision to dispose of it. It's interesting that you got a bag full of goodies Pigman, my contact took items from a skip which I, as an avid R&D fan, would give my right arm for. Many other items could not be saved as they would have been too conspicuous to carry away. The person who took these items was also the person who loaded the skip and I know the name of the person who authorised this.

ChorltonV - I know who you're talking about as I have heard exactly the same story, but I won't say who on an open Forum. I've got to wade through the stuff I have and then the Committee need to decide what to do with it all, not sure how much use it will really be.

Been meaning to do it for weeks (since I got it) but just not had the spare time - next weekend is looking good for this at the moment. Once I've sorted it out I'll ask again if there is anything else available.

Winding up order looming, so some cash is going to have to be shelved out by someone or it really is curtains time, Ladick won't be able to talk his way out of that one like he did with the Conference - still think he's holding out for a deal with someone though and they'll be saved, for now at least.

Must say, I've been impressed with paulk's words on Ploppynet - he seems to be one of the few who is really up for a phoenix side and prepared to push on with the idea, good luck to him with that, most of the muppets I don't like seem to be saying they wouldn't follow a side like that, that it wouldn't be KTFC - what they are missing is the fact that it could be SO much better !!!
I can see things limping on for the rest of the season because Cousins won't want the ground left empty for longer than necessary - even if he has to get his chums from Posh or Weymouth to take over the reins for a while. They'll then get kicked out of the Conference, and will be able to blame their demise on the Conference Board, at which point the appeals regarding the covenants will be made.

They're all creaming themselves over their goal yesterday, I've just watched it and I really can't see what the fuss is about...

Roughly 15 away fans is that? Not bad considering it could have been their last ever game.

Wrexham's fourth goal looked remarkable similar to the one that Yeovil got to knock us out of the cup - perhaps the goal that sealed the Diamonds fate....

I thought it was a cracking goal to be fair, although the 'keeper should probably have done better. Besides, the Plopps need some positives to focus on at the moment, so give 'em a break, eh. ;)

I also thought Marna's second yellow was very harsh, it looks like he genuinely didn't realise there was a man behind him challenging for the header. That said, he was very fortunate not to get a straight red for his first offence.

The Ploppies defending (or lack of) for Wrexham's second goal reminds me of our second against Cambridge at the Abbey last season.

As for the defending for Wrexham's third goal...

The fourth definitely shouldn't have stood, like Formic says, very reminiscent of Yeovil's goal against us last season. Yet another parrallel.

Oh, and Marcus Kelly at 1:35...

I thought it was justified, he threw his elbow back as he jumped into the Wrexham players face.

TBH, he should have seen a straight red for the first yellow. He kicked the played as he was down and then grabbed him by the throat.
