Look on the bright side (if at all possible!) at least we might have a few more players back and not down to the bare bones! That said this scratch team tonight did brilliantly :D

Apologies for the lack of updates on the Official website - the toolkit used to update it seems to have broken.

It was our best first-half performance away from home all season, and even the Grimsby fans couldn't explain why the linesman gave the penalty - he seemed to indicate there had been a shirt pull, but it certainly wasn't as blatant as those you see go unpunished week in / week out.

Alan Power's goal was excellent - shame it will be expunged from the records.

We also picked up more injuries - as well as PC-H, Michael Gash was fouled several times and was limping noticeably, and both Power and Jamie Day appeared to get knocks too.

Was I right in hearing during the commentary that the result would have stood after 70 minutes? If it wasn't for the officials being about 5 minutes late in coming out and the fcuking about from the linesman, only an extra 5 minutes or so of play would have been needed. Fishy ain't the word.

As a footnote to events in Grimsby, the fog really isn't that thick away from the ground - obviously the floodlights made it worse.

I think they meant that if the game got to that stage the ref wouldnt dare abandon it at that point
