Former Players
Re: Former Players
It will be interesting to see what role he plays at Melton - and in what formation. I'd like to see what he can do as a wing back in front of a back 3 a bit like Joel or Luke played last season - or even as a dedicated wide midfielder.

Re: Former Players
Unless he improves his discipline and attitude and defensive abilities then I don't think we will see him again, other than maybe v ON Chenecks next week.
Having off loaded a few recently I would imagine we will be looking for some defensive cover . Our squad is now just 18 players.

Melton paying big wages and hope to have ten players on contractsdavealbon wrote: Thu Nov 01, 2018 12:09 pmI hope this is a dual registration to allow him to get minutes, and not a case of him leaving, as I'm a big fan of Westy. Zak Reynolds hasn't put a foot wrong since getting in the team though and is rightfully the first choice rigth back at the moment.ParcelFace wrote: Wed Oct 31, 2018 4:12 pm Not sure if this counts as 'former' players but Callum Westwood has joined Melton Town on dual registration.
Either way, it's disappointing that Westy's dropped down so many levels, as he's far too good for UCL Div 1.

Re: Former Players
Ty Ward, who couldn’t get in the squad for us, has started both games since signing for Conference South side Hemel Hempstead Town.

Going through their Twitter it doesn't sounds great for him,BartonRaz wrote: Thu Nov 01, 2018 10:17 pm Ty Ward, who couldn’t get in the squad for us, has started both games since signing for Conference South side Hemel Hempstead Town.
"It had been coming, and it comes from a couple of horrendous errors in the Hemel midfield; the ball ultimately miscontrolled by Ty Ward to set Stevens away for an easy finish."
"Ward booked for Hemel after a late tackle."
They lost 3-0 to Eastbourne and drew 1-1 with Slough

Re: Former Players
I thought he looked really lively when he came on for a cameo at Kempston. Thought we wouldve slotted in on the left of a midfield 3, but Rogers has certainly done the business and made that spot his own since returning.
Fair play to Ty for having a go at a higher level.

Sileby must be our unofficial feeder club! Our ex players always seem to end up there.
