Yeah... We've been treated to a few spectacular goals following this club. In fact I'm going to treat myself to Sam Brown's Eynesbury goal right now.

From Lilywhites' Soapbox Forum:-
'Gutted to go out to a team two levels lower than us but thats the magic of the FA Cup and 800 fans go home happy. I thought there was a tremendous cup tie atmosphere at the ground and "their shed" fans, most of whom were youngsters, really got behind them from the kick off. AFC could have won it in the first 25 minutes when they were all over us and only a great save from Zac kept us in it at 1-0. But credit to our lads they came back strongly and like all good teams turned a period that they dominated into two goals. I'm not too sure if we had scored the penalty that it would have been game over because we didn't cope with the long ball to Dunkley and Taylor for the entire 90 minutes and they always looked capable of scoring. A draw would have probably been a fair result but thats football. Finally good luck to AFCR&D in the next round.'
Another City Fan commented:-
'Anyway good luck to AFC Rushden as Dan said they could beat anyone at their place and they will not be level 5 for long, the whole set up is geared for a higher level.'
