I see he's also urging 2,500 spectators to turn up on Sat "in their hour of need". Where have we heard that before? They had a fundraising friendly recently and only 500 turned up.

Does that 2,500 include the 500 or 600 old R&D fans ?

I think certain people did not think firstly that we would reform, secondly when we did we would not reform as quick as we did and thirdly we would not be as successful as we are . I think those certain people have been taken by surprise by what we have achieved in a short space of time

Indeedy, even some Kettrin fans, ok only PaulK, have recognised how successful we've been SO FAR.

More fool them if they are taken in by Rolls rhetoric. According to some Camb U fans - he shouldn't be allowed within 10 miles of a football club.

He apparently still owes them £30k for supposed stadium naming rights!

How this man believes he can get Kettrin out of this hole, I do not know! :?

It's just prolonging the inevitable.

Thankfully we'll have hopefully made significant strides as a senior team before they get their heads out of the sand and start a phoenix club.

And the people that made all the above possible should be congratulated for all their hard work. I was very impressed at the members forum by all concerned with the rebirth of our club (particularly the acting chairman Ralph ) and urge that if you haven,t taken out your membership yet do so as soon as possible. Remember, the more members we have as a community club, the more notice the local council must take in helping us in the future (ground etc ).

I've said before (probably on this thread, but I'm buggered if I'm gonna try and find it); Kettrin fans spent so long spouting the 'plastic' propoganda, they ended up believing it. The fact that they distance themselves from and are blind to all our successes and strengths since reforming means they are both unable and unwilling to follow the road-map we've laid out for them. Their arrogance will be their downfall.

Stolen from poppynet..
Exactly what I thought Horace............probably the pie in the sky fans run club that will somehow transform the 55,000 into wanting to watch "K*ttering" on some muddy bank somewhere that were not interested enough when on their own doorstep in the crumbling Rockingham Road, or a few miles down the A6 in a state of the art stadia.............playing against ex league clubs on an almost weekly basis...........
Is what you mean Chorlton?! They don't have a scooby do!

I can't believe they're hailing Rolls as the saviour. Yes Weymouth are still in existance but they're playing in the Southern League! How would NP survive in the Southern League - it wouldn't!!

Kettrin will go down the same route as Weymouth - but with an even bigger mill stone around their necks. Who would invest in Kettrin with those overheads with a team playing in the Southern League?

All hail Rolls the saviour,

I notice the start of Spin in the media and if by magic a new user of a few days saying how wonderful Mr Rolls is and we are heading to the Football League as its our rightful place, i wonder who that is

Of course we all know it will be all the fans fault when they go into a CVA.

The "hour of need" card has surely been used up already and when it was they only got 800 home fans! Their next two games when they need 2,500 are Wrexham and Alfreton, I'll predict 1,400 and 1,000 (possibly three figures if they've lost to Hayes!). I wonder if those fans that do turn up will pay double to make up the shortfall?

How long does it take to verify payment by the way, the Conference couldn't organise a piss-up in a brewery!

They've got to get their bank to send their homing pigeon back with the confirmation tied to its leg.
