New Kit announced
Re: New Kit announced
I also like it.
Agreed that it is too similar to the home kit though.

People who dislike it, what is it you don't like about it?
The shade of blue?
Stripes?
Not being yellow?
Not having a go at all, just wandering!

Shade of blue plays a part! Since when does the club play in sky blue :/Harry wrote:People who dislike it, what is it you don't like about it?

The strips dont help but i have nothing against them
And Yes Its NOT yellow :O everyone knowsour away kit is yellow why change it
Re: New Kit announced
I'm sure the fact that it is so close to our home colours mean that it could end up as a 3rd kit with a yellow away shirt. I agree with Pigman though. AFC's idea of letting fans select the kit from 4 choices advertised in the programme and also in the bar was a great idea. Maybe we can do something like this for our next kit.
Ps.. I didn't think this would be so controversial but I hate the current yellow away kit. Nothing against the colour but hate the design. Will be glad to see it gone now it's run it's 2 year cycle. Still own one though ;)

Don't histon have this exact kit? come to think about it
Ahh answered my own question.... not quite http://www.vandanel.co.uk/images/upload ... 0shirt.jpg
Harry, i think it's the colours...never really had anything to do with us...although Argentina's colours does suit our playing style ;) and it's growing on me every time i look at it

Re: New Kit announced
Mansfield also had a similar one this season, although they have changed theirs to a St George cross, ala scum...
I suppose at least we're copying a country that might win something ;)
To be honest I quite like the kit, but like others don't see how it can fit in, too similar to the home shirt to be of that much use. Also like the shirts with collars.
Like always I'll get it at some point, wait till money allows.
I imagine if we were to wear it at Wembley there would be a large volume of sales! Crucial to get it out in time for that. Only one of our 3 potential opponents might block it (Luton), and they might want to play in their orange kit anyway.

Re: New Kit announced
Yeah its the colour for me - horrid incipid sky blue, yuck, nasty !!
Plus its the blue thing, as I said earlier, the last blue away kit we had proved to be VERY unlucky. I didn't buy the last home kit (the current one) as I didn't like it and was hoping the new away kit could tempt me to part with some of my hard earned cash, this won't sadly !! I'll have to spend the money in the bar instead eh? The club will get my dosh one way or the other ;)

I actually like it, just seems too close to our home kit.
