Re: Shirt Sponsorship 'Raffle'
if you were struggling to raise the £350 you could suggest that if you won the raffle then the people that have donated somehow get the surname or initials involved in the thediamondsforum.co.uk logo. or to form a border around the logo? :?

Thanks for the idea though - apologies for being negative

Re: Shirt Sponsorship 'Raffle'
Well if we raised 470ish? for a player sponsorship, I'm sure we can raise 300ish for shirt sponsorship solely!
Re: Shirt Sponsorship 'Raffle'
The difference here though is that it's money raised for a raffle which, at best, we'll have a 1:100 chance of winning. £20 is a lot of money thrown away if we don't win...it will pay for me to get to and from work for 2 weeks or it's the admission fee for a home game with £3 left over.
Sorry to be negative and I really hope it pays off for the Club but it's an ask too much for me.

Both are at the end of the day contributing to the club though. I don't get thrills over being the sponsor of Craig Farrell, or feel like its 'winning'.Diamondsforever wrote:The difference here though is that it's money raised for a raffle which, at best, we'll have a 1:100 chance of winning. £20 is a lot of money thrown away if we don't win...it will pay for me to get to and from work for 2 weeks or it's the admission fee for a home game with £3 left over.

Just an idea.
For the people that pledge money, what about they get their name/initials on the kit, should the forum win?
Have 'TheDiamondsForum' as the main logo, around it have the initials or something similar to the 'Darlington kit' so to speak (Raz, your idea if i remember rightly?)

There's a simple solution to your problem; take a couple of weeks off work. That way everyone's a winner! ;)Diamondsforever wrote:£20 is a lot of money thrown away if we don't win...it will pay for me to get to and from work for 2 weeks or it's the admission fee for a home game with £3 left over.

I think you could be onto a winner there. We would only need 21 people pledging £20 each to reach the full total (VAT included), so it would be quite feasible to fit the full names around the Diamonds Forum logo.OsanoIsKing wrote:Just an idea.
