When we will find out who this is officially? It says 'in the morning', is this tomorrow or today?

Until anything appears on the OS no one has signed and is just the ET's opinion on when/if it will go through. Something may have happened at the last minute, or there's a delay.

Have Been doing some research, looking at League 1 players who are out of favour and have played in the conference...

Tresor Kandol, Formerly of Dagenham & Redbridge, Now at Leeds
Ben Strevans, Formerly of Crawley Town, and interesting Wingate and Fynchley, Now at Brentford.
Glenn Murray, Formerly of Carlisle, Now at Brighton.
Jamie Guy, Formerly of 'too many to mention', Now at Colchester.

4 players from Exeter:
Adam Stansfield
Craig McAllister
Richard Logan
Stuart Fleetwood

Dennis Oli, Formerly of Grays, Now at Gillingham.
Lee Novak, now at Huddersfield, Formerly of Gateshead- an unlikely one.
Dean Morgan, now at MK Dons, formerly of Grays.
Matt Harrold, now at Wycombe, formerly of Grays
Stuart Beavon, now at Wycombe, formerly at Weymouth.
Andre McCollin, now at Yeovil, formerly at Grays

From this, I can see a lot of players are ex-Grays so quite a few could know Justin Edinburgh.

Despite all these players I have highlighted, I hope I am wrong, we could end up with a young, unexperienced signing not on the list :(

From all these I think the two most likely are Beavon/Strevans. Beavon because of his goalscoring ability and a recent change of manager. Strevans because he is ex Wyngate and Fynchley.

From that lot, you can rule out:

Glen Murray - Signed from Rochdale for 300k in 2008 and is fairly prolific.
Stuart Fleetwood - No chance.
Dennis Oli - Gillinghams best player this season (quote my best mate, a Gills fan).
Lee Novak - Starts for Huddersfield.
Dean Morgan - Only just signed for Dons and doing fairly well by all accounts.

That leaves:

Tresor Kandol - An interesting one. Whilst he is clearly too good (i would have thought) for this level, Cliff Akurang is one of his best friends in football and they played together at Thurrock. Also, he isn't exactly flavour of the month at Leeds after he got a red card recently and missed several games for 'personal reasons'. His cousin is Yannick Bolasie.

Jamie Guy - Was apparently terrible at Oxford last season, and i'd expect JE to have done his homework.

Ben Strevens - Only just signed for Brentford but not playing a great deal.

Adam Stansfield - Playing fairly regularly.

Craig McAllister - Shipped out on loan recently.

Matt Harrold - Playing fairly regularly.

Stuart Beavon - Fringes of the first team, rejected us previously.

Andre McCollin - Not good enough to be here, was on loan at Dorchester recently.

Richard Logan - Out of favour.

I'd say the most likely ones are McAllister, Logan, Beavon, Strevens, and if i'm being really optimistic, Kandol.

Could possibly be Lewis Guy from Colchester.
Are you sure they just didn't take it from here, where I completely made it up last week?

Kandol is by no means out of favour.

He was banned for three matched for slapping an Yeovil player after the match at Elland Road earlier in the season before he was then given compassionate leave for a family matter meaning he was unavailable for 6-11 matches. He has just returned to a strong reserve side that battered Scunny 6-1 this week.

I should have re-phrased it... 'it says 'in the morning', is this tomorrow or was it supposed to be today?'

It's weird how exciting a new player is after 4 months of no-one apart from a useless, uncommited donkey.
