I went to the game and quite frankly Brackley looked like a team that had played together regularly, and ours didn't. Which was exactly the case. We played a few loanees, trialists, youth teamers and a sprinkling of first teamers coming back from injury - it was a team that had never played together. Joe Keehan was the stand out player for me, he played in the middle and got stuck in. We had a couple cleared off the line (yet again), and a decent shout for a penalty due to a handball. It's not a case of beating an egg, it's a case of bringing players on in the best interests of the club long term. I thought the first goal was poorly defended by the young lad at right-back, he just didn't compete enough to win the cross but overrall he showed promise, although the whole defence had already called for offside against the winger who crossed it, and the line-o let it play on. I wasn't in line, but it was close.
Darren Collins received a loud round of applause when he came on.

Also thought the right back (Leonard) did ok, not sure if he'd do a job at BSP level tho. I certainly think Keehan deserves a stab at the first team now, was our best player along with Thorne, who's the better of the two defenders. Spence tried to get hold of the ball and tried a few efforts from distance, but frankly this is one for JE to offload. I think Michael Gash should change his middle name to "is", gave the ball away, poor hold up play and poor timing in the air. Only worry was Aaron King, who came off after half hour, with what looked like a gash under his left eye.
