Mills is definitely not the answer - the answer is more complex and much bigger than that. And if the answer is not produced, then long term contact or not, another answer will be sought.

Short term (say to the end of the season, now it's effectively over) I'd say Millsy might do a job. We must stop putting players all over the park, get them set-up and win, lose or draw stick them on the pitch to gel.

In what must of been nearly 150 games for us I don't remember any goals, as our forwards are not finding the net we could do with goals coming from elsewhere and Mills aint the answer.

Ever since his injury at Oxford, Millsy has become a shadow of his former self and a bit of a bottler. Not the answer.

I think Gary mills would be a good signing. He would give us a bit of experience into the squad and due to terrys,Stuarts and downers departure I think its what we need.I also remember one of his goals at home to tranmere, proberly one of the better goals I've seen at nene park!

Im sure i saw him play at luton for mansfield this year, and he didnt look to bad. Id probably take him back, although he'd definately have to win me over again after what he done to Tommo and his antics for K*ttering.

Another Ex-Diamond who could be returning to Nene Park, is CB Mark Albrighton.. you heard it first here ;)
