Very happy with that performance. I thought Mark Byrne was excellent as always, and was nice to see Sam Smith sharp again. Bring on the Wrexham!

i was really impressed with smiths pace - and byrne was again top class, they all were today, thats why it was so frustrating not to get a clean sheet, the defence was superb and all of them got forward well too....roll on tuesday, lets get a run going..

First half was pretty tight, and I thought Barrow looked lively when they broke, but the second half performance was superb (until we switched off at the end). P*** T**** was MotM for me, protected the back four superbly - he obviously likes playing against Barrow as he was superb against them on his debut as well.

Apologies Statto, My mistake for only looking at his Year of Birth and not researching his birthday :(
You can't put a foot wrong on this forum without being corrected ;)

You were doing Jefferson an injustice.

I have to say, our team's short passing game was excellent today. Neat, crisp and accurate, it was a joy to watch. Fair play to J-Lo and Downer, they both had fine games today - in fact the whole team did. I did get the nasty feeling it was Tommo's swansong, for some reason. Dunno why.
If the team can maintain those levels of performance it'll make the play-offs.

I think Wrexham on Tuesday will be a tough one to call.
So far wrexham have Won- 8 Drew- 6 Lost- 9.. but have only scored 22 goals so far this season, which is the same as bottom of the league Chester, that alone should hopefully stand us in good stead, but you never know on the day.

They are pretty poor away too.
