Er, I don't think there's anyone left apart from the players. You don't walk away though do you? You sit back, you take it and you hold on.TwinkleToesTomlin wrote:I think there are a few people at the club who are not too happy with the new owners, I''d expect to see one or two more dpeartures by the end of the season.

I agree she did keep Diamonds afloat, but there are ways of doing things and she alienated a lot of people who also bled RDFC. I think the new owners have made a fresh start at board level, time will tell if that proves to be a good or bad thing, but what I can say there is one less cloud hanging over Nene Park now.
No it doesn't.Rushdenjim wrote:Just shows that she was just saying retirement to get out of the club.
i would think Gill Wignall.as she is a volunteer and now a board member.Formic wrote:I wish Helen well in her new role - and hope one day to find out the full story of this move.
It will be interesting to see how the new regime approaches the role of volunteers at the club. So far there has been no comment made, so the Fans Forum will provide answers to question-marks in this area.
in my opinion, Helen would always acknowledge the work done by fellow volunteers. but also make sure that Keith, Justin and others were aware of the efforts being made by both the group of volunteers and the Trust - who will champion this now?
