I guess I'm prepared to cut them some slack, first fans forum and all that. Lots of interesting potential developments over the coming months, we'll have to see how it goes eh? We still have a football club to follow, we have owners who on the face of it are keen to make a go of the club, they have new ideas and are receptive to suggestions from fans - give them a chance I say. My glass is half full.....................I must top it up ;)

The 4-4-3 formation was my idea at the last FF, I'm glad he's looking into it at last

dont you mean 4-4-2 as you would have to have 12 players with 4-4-3 on the picth thats including the GK.

I'm with Pigman and prepared to cut them some slack, although I remain a bit sceptical.

It seems to me that we are dependant on the success of Liam's business - he certainly has big plans and I hope it's the success he wants it to be. He came across as the kind of guy who won't accept failure and is prepared to work hard.
I was pleased to hear that someone new has come on board to help with the marketing side of things; from what Gary said, we are moving in the right direction with that already. I was even more pleased to hear that Football in the Community is in the process of being revived; the young supporters of today are future ST holders and we need to encourage their involvement with the Club.

Interesting comments from Gary about the new director at another local club; I wouldn't like to cross GC so I wonder if that decision will come back to bite her one day soon.
Special mention for Justin who was suffering with man-flu, it took a lot of strength for him to talk about Dale, I'm pleased to hear that the counsellors feel the players have now turned a corner, and the events surrounding Jamie Stuart's departure and I hope everyone, whilst acknowledging that he was hurting too, can now see Stuart for the type of person he is. His leaving was entirely the right move for
the club. He let us all down

For the first time in a while, I feel that we are being run professionally, as a business working within its means so onwards and upwards, starting with today's game :)

There WILL be a coffee shop opening in the club shop. This may or may not be in conjunction with one of two local restaurants. It will also feature a stall for car rental company (I think that's what GC said?) which will bring in additional funding.

The club are looking at holding poker nights and bringing back 'An Evening With...' events, including an evening with the Conference winning side. They are also looking at another legends game, and someone suggested the possibilty of parading past players prior to a home game in an attempt to bring back some former supporters.

Hotel plans are still afoot, although the finer details are still being worked upon. It will probably incorporate dorms to support the PB Devs apprentices.

GC sIt was implied that the Football CV relationship will be ending soon.eemed less than impressed with Helen Thompson's decision to retire and then take up a position at Corby.
JE was very upset with Jamie Stuart's decision to leave. He didn't attend Dale's funeral and only let JE know through a text to one of the other players. He then produced a doctors note saying he was suffering with depression and could no longer play for the club, somewhat forcing our hand to sell him. The fee wasn't mentioned.

We have a 25% sell on fee on the PROFIT from any transfer fee paid to Peterborough for Lee Tomlin. There is no bonus for them winning promotion though.

We will be competing in a reserve league next season, along with the likes of Ipswich, Norwich and Stevenage.

The club are looking at improving community relationships, especially with local schools and colleges. Steve someone (who I think is another director) visited a school earlier in the week and was told that the headmistress had had 4 appointments arranged with the club over the past few years and this was the first time someone had turned up.
PERHAPS SHE HAS GONE THERE TO SECURE A BASE FOR FCV.
