There you go then its sorted anything south of Manchester and north of the Watford can be deemed the midlands

This is much easier in Ireland, where we have borders for this sort of thing ;)

The middle of england is actually around 50 miles north, i tried doing some calculations doing google earth and it came out that if i divided the length of england by 3 we are about 5 miles to far north to be in the south.
