Well done lads, that's a fantastic achievement!

Just got back from Chesterfield.

What an outstanding effort from our lads tonight, especially to turn it around having gone behind so early on, and looking very shaky in the opening 10-15 minutes! Chesterfield had the better individual players in most positions, but we had a team ethic and work rate that shone through in the end. The team coach was buzzing on the way home!

A half time parade of the trophy against Kiddy is already being organised.

Superb fellas, absolutely superb. You're a credit to the club and we're all very proud of you.

It was a superb performance. They showed great composure after going a goal down so early, and looking like they might get a battering early on, to regroup and get back on terms at half-time. They didn't panic when a wonder strike got the Spireites back on terms shortly before the end, and the winning goal was a real team effort. When we heard that several of the Chesterfield team had famous fathers - with Chris Waddle watching his son from the stand, we knew it was going to be a tough game.

I think Chesterfield might have highlights of the game at some point on their site - they have had them for recent youth games.

Well done to the lads, great achievement. Really makes the FA's policy on youth funding look like even more of a farce.
