Also another point to add is that if everyone brought a season ticket for next year that did this year. It would only bring in £115k. Well short of the £750k we owe
Fair enough. We'll have to see what happens after Saturday.

I could hazard a very good guess !! :?

Best case scenario is it we get the 15 point deduction we get it this year instead of next, we can't get relegated with a 15 point deduction (i think) so its better than starting next year with a MASSIVE mountain to climb.

I would rather take 15 points next year in the Conference rather than this year and be in Conference North or South, or lower. That needs to be clarified first.

When someone doesn't reply to an email, you get the impression they are hiding something - when answers are required.
I'm not going to go into what I asked as it's not relevant, but Steve didn't reply to my email - therefore I don't like him.

As far as I can see, the 400k budget is for the playing staff and there must have been other costs associated with keeping the facilities going that have gone unpaid for some time. Also, I think that the sports centre is an issue. Something to do with a large repair bill or dilapidations costs.
We were told that KC left the club "debt free", but this seems hardly credible now. Even the Beasants couldn't have run up these debts so soon. I wonder if the departures of HT and the chairman had something to do with brokering a deal to buy the club which turned out to be very poor for the incoming owners.

The one bit of hope I'm clinging onto:
Justin stayed when he could have gone elsewhere.

If he stays during the summer then he's mad. He won't stick around when he's not being paid!
Ed: I'll be very interested to hear what Chris Barritt says on R.Northampton on Saturday.

Sarah I'm not going to Darlo so won't b saying anything on the radio this sat.
However I am following the situation with interest and will be ringing the Conference tomorrow to see what, if anything, I can find out.
For what its worth I spoke with both KC + Max Griggs before the kiddy game and asked them both if there was any way they could save our club!
I also do not believe that KC would let this club die but - and its a big but - we must not forget which two people own the land! They could easily wait 18 months and then build houses?
What I don't understand is if KC owns the land what was the reason for the Beasants taking over the club? No assets and an ailing fan base! Something doesn't make sense here?
I actually said goodbye to Justin on saturday - not because of any knowledge pn my part or anything JE said - but I just cannot see him or the entire squad being here next season. Can you?
He doesn't trust the owners so why work with them?

I'm not calling you a liar RushdenJim nor am I denying the current situation but I'm just struggling to believe some of what you've posted, if what you've posted is mostly correct then the club is an absolute shambles at the moment and is on a road to disaster I fear.

I'm guessing this is the case, its obvious the whole place is very expensive to run and repairs such as the one that had to be done at the shop after xmas are just going to make things even worse. My feeling at the moment is that we'll be kicked out of the league like Salisbury were because of that rule and end up in the Zamaretto and have to completely rebuild as a part time club. And Chris, JE and the squad are the least of my worries at the moment as to me they're pretty much gone. There's no way you can expect anyone to stay at the club after whats probably been going on at the club in the last few weeks/months and in its current situation.
