Someone needs to know the current total football club debts, including VAT, owing to creditors for starters. Who has been doing the accounts? For Steve Beasant to make a crass statement saying he doesn't know how much VAT is outstanding beggar's belief.
Perhaps it has suited the Beasants not to have someone with rudimentary accountant skills keeping at least a simple receipts and expenditure account.
Reminds me of the McRitchie debacle at the Cobblers back in 1993.
Whilst a full breakdown would be nice, what we urgently need to know is what sort of money must be found to satisfy Football Creditors (to meet Conference Rules) and HMRC (to give us at least a chance of getting the Creditors to agree to a CVA, and thus a chance to remain in the Conference).

The apparent rules of the Conference that I've seen on a forum but not validated are:

"14.B.1 In the event of a Club entering an Insolvency Event between the end of the AGM and start of the AGM immediately following thereafter (‘the next AGM’) then it shall automatically be relegated by one Step at the next AGM, unless one of the following requirements has been met, namely
(i) Prior to the next AGM it has Paid in Full all its creditors (including but not limited to Football Creditors); or
(ii) Prior to the next AGM it has Paid in Full its Football Creditors and entered a CVA to have Paid in Full its other creditors over an agreed period not extending more than three years following the date of the approval of the CVA. "

I estimate Football Creditors to be approx £55K (including April wages for management ans players). Not sure if football Club staff count as football creditors. They are not included in this figure. I am trying to establish whether they are and will post when I have found out. Apparently the scout doesn't count as a football creditor.

I think HMRC are owed in the region of £120K.

Please remember these figures are estimates

I'll be there hopefully.

It just occured me amongst many other important things I'll miss, I'm gutted about the prospect of never having a Diamond Burger ever again. :(

Being a Weymouth fan I have kept an eye out after the Beasants didnt manage to get their grubby paws on us ( we got george rolls instread!) Has anyone contact GR as he is looking to invest in a club now he isnt our chairman? Sounds not ideal but he supposedly has some money knocking around.

I wonder why the start is so early at 6pm,i thought 7pm would be easier for everyone ,maybe at 6pm less people may turn up due to getting home from work.

I will wait until after seeing what comes out of the Tuesday meeting but at this moment without Keith putting a shed load of money into the club or the Beasants selling their interest in it to someone who has money then it looks like the club is finished as we know it. :(

Yeah I agree, KC putting in money is unlikely though, in today's NLP he says that he'll provide any time he can spare to help out and is hopeful that we might be able to come up with something at the meeting but obviously he emphasises how important significant support will be if we are to be successful in saving the club.
