Yeah I was wondering if someone would mention that - still he owes him a favour as it was a bad challenge and never a sending off (well I guess hands raised even if he only flicked his hair, followed some good play acting...).

Good work in raising awareness through twitter, the power of social networking is undeniable these days. We should tweet as (as people already seem to be doing) any sports related media, famous footballers with plenty of followers, ex-players (although not Leon Knight for obvious reasons) and even celebs with even just a football interest and I think there's a good chance of some retweeting, will do the same.

Simeon Jackson would be a nice idea with the current attention he is recieving from his fantastic form, I'm now trying to find a way of contacting him.

Whilst I applaud the notion of the thread title, it should not be seen as a long-term solution. This club needs to stand on its own two feet whomsoever is at the helm. That means non-footy related income. That's why KC is so important now as he holds tenure of the land, it must be developed and earn both himself (and any partners) an income as well as the football club, I know he holds some of the cards on this (the other being the bank's covenant), but IMO he is a football man and will see the value of keeping a football club for the "community" a la Max Griggs. After all THAT is why he is here ( I sincerely hope).

I totall agree with this and have done so since the Diamond Centre and the Sports complex was created. This side of the business has never run a profit, I think if it had then Max would have even considered keeping the club on longer as any profit from the Corporate side would have offset deficits in the football.
KC is a businessman, surely he must have the mind and the right connections to be able to bring the Diamond Centre and all that is has to life??? Although the nightclub was a disaster it was a start.
Many local businesses struggle to find places to hold small to large meetings, Zumba fitness classes in the area are filled to the brim, weddings, parties the list could be endless but it needs the right person to run it
What I think is great is that there are so many ideas on here backed by enthusiasm!
