He was at our last couple of home games, helping out in the shop, and said he would still be coming along next season as a supporter. Obviously that was before the current concerns over whether or not we will have a club to support next season.

I have already resigned myself to be watching BSN games next season................................

........... at Corby.

The saving grace is that I won't have to drive 18 miles for home games so I will save around £6 for the journey ;) .

I should support Corby by the law of localness, but I'll be in the away end supporting Boston probably. ;)

Well at least they have a new smart little ground, had a look the other day, basic but certainly nicer than the athletics stadium next door.

I agree. Rockingham Triangle was never built as a football stadium. It was designed for athletics. Apart from the 2000 odd that attended their promotion game against Banbury a couple of years ago attendances for some of the prestige athletics fixtures in the late 80's were larger than most Corby Town games.
If I chose to walk across the fields, over Rockingham Castle estates land, it's only just over a mile as the crow flies. ;)

Went to their game against Stafford R on Easter Saturday. Very disappointed that Corby's new stadium is only (really) two sided. If the two other sides had continued in the same vein as the two that have been built it would be a very decent little stadium.

Probably big enough for their short and medium term needs with further expansion if they got higher. The construction was totally funded by Corby Borough Council and as a council tax payer of that authority I feel that is a prudent approach. ;)

I hear Aynsley has signed for Histon.

I knew he played in a trial match for them earlier in the week and they were keen to offer him something, so you're probably right Jaff.
