I think this is a great idea. Instead of having meaningless holidays from Canada, USA and Australia as there are on most calendars, you could have "1992 - R&DFC 2-2 Bilston, first ever game" for August 22nd, "1997 - K*ttering 1-5 R&DFC, first competitive game and victory against the scum!" for March 8th etc..... :D
March 12th I believe

You were born when Planning Permission for Stonehenge was being discussed (rumours have it anyway) ;)

Thats an idea but the whole "legends" is to narrow it down to eleven players. If you were to choose say 3 players born in March there may not be 3 of the legend status whereas there may be 7 for say April
That's fair enough. It was just another idea I thought of whilst thinking about it at the weekend. I've not looked into dates yet, but we may even find by fluke that the legends selected all have different months of birth. :p

That's good.

I spoke to Jim/Pigman about it and it was decided to wait and see the situation of the club for next year before we look any further into sorting things :)

Yeah, sorry should have posted something - been busy !!

I don't want to spend too much time on this until I know we have a club to follow, I just haven't got the time to waste at the moment - I'll throw myself into it if we hear good news over the coming 2-3 weeks.
