I say again, why should we pay for the full costs of the stadium when we'd only need to use it part-time at that level? Why would it be out of our price range? We'd have to negotiate a deal with KC to pay for what we used and not the upkeep of the whole site as a full-time club. Hire one stand, pay for the gas and electric on a meter then maybe a lease rental agreement or something? Is it that bad that we cannot afford to compete with Histon, Hayes & Yeading, Forest Green Rovers who all have a full stadium to upkeep ? Why are we writing it off so easily ? We do not own the site, so why should we be responsible for paying for all of it?
That just wont work, its like saying I have a 5 bedroom house but only sleep in one bedroom so its cheaper. Its not!

Surely the analogy you should be using is that if you rent a flat in an apartment block with three other flats, you aren't expecting to pay for the rent / rates / cleaning / security / maintenance / utilities for all the other flats ?

thats only dependent on if someone else is in the flats and wants you in it.

Our attendences arent good enough for the Prem and alot will fall away in a lower league,

So if we cant afford it now how do we then, baring in mind entry fee is appx £7

I am just trying to be realistic, sorry

What we pay in rent will be down to the club and KC to negotiate. KC did say at the open forum that he would consider leasing the stadium to us rent free if the fans took over the club. Obviously that is extremely unlikely to happen, but he may still consider it under a new ownership - especially if said new owners are friends of his (I'm just speculating here)!

Longer interview with Justin

He continues to say the right things.

I'm not sure I'v heard Nene Park pronounced quite like JE does in part 2. ;)

I'll echo this. Getting through the last couple of years was much easier with the prospect of Justin's football to watch every week. :)

We forgive you even though the last time we played KTFC at Nene Park, they beat us

Completely agree, the football under GH got so bad it had almost got to the point where I could hardly be bothered to go and watch such rubbish. But that's never been the case with Justin as manager, its been a great few years, 09/10 was the best season for me watching Diamonds (started supporting in 2003) and I'm sure with a better budget he would have got us back into the league, good luck to him in the future, definitely the best manager we've ever had.
