I agree about the people that are happy just to see football, and therefore KTFC at Nene Park. They are wankers and I want to know what the point of them supporting RDFC was all these years if they're just going to kill one club and go to their rivals at the drop of a hat. It's ****ing stupid and I'd be embarrassed if I was them, I'd not be able to look at myself in the mirror and not be ashamed.

Shamelessly bumping this up so it doesn't get lost.

Come guys, let's prove to everyone and create that phoenix. I think it is a serious proposition and can be done. :)

Groundshare with Wellingborough? Raunds? Back to Hayden Road?

Mad dog, great post, I'd be more than happy to pledge any help and support for AFC Rushden and Diamonds for 2012-2013

Raunds or Wellingborough surely. Hayden Road isn't up to standard as we've discussed.

Yes. I've mentioned about Raunds in my opening post (I strongly recommend reading it. It includes information that suggests this is viable, drawn from the Trust Meetings, including a representative from Supporters Direct).

Also to add further, Helen mentioned that we might be able to access Co-operative funding, but we'd have to look into that. Approaching Irthlingborough Diamonds Trust was also mentioned as someone that we could approach.

Raunds most be the best option, nice little stadium, a lot better then Wellingborough and if we are going to have to pay rent, why not let if go to another local small club instead of Wellingborough.

I would like to say i'm 100% with you and would be willing to put time into this. I will certainly not be forgetting this fantastic club and if a part of it can live on through the phoenix I'm all for it.

Raunds would have to be the best option, decent little set up, space to make improvements. Hayden Road is a non starter. Dog and Duck gets very boggy in midwinter and I did hear there were issues with the landlord hoping to sell the ground to developers
