The other issue is that having missed a whole season we would not be in any way relegated from a higher level, therefore there would not really be a vacancy, is it fair that an extra Premier Division club would be relegated, or a Division One side denied promotion?
We are lucky that UCL1 has vacancies, if we were based elsewhere in the country we might have to start a good bit lower than step 6.
