True they were very controversialy thrown out of Conference North, but still their ground was plenty good enough for the top division of the Northern Premier (and has since been greatly improved), none of our options are anywhere near as good.
The other issue is that having missed a whole season we would not be in any way relegated from a higher level, therefore there would not really be a vacancy, is it fair that an extra Premier Division club would be relegated, or a Division One side denied promotion?
We are lucky that UCL1 has vacancies, if we were based elsewhere in the country we might have to start a good bit lower than step 6.
