You could have 140 years of no achievement, or twenty years of glorious victories, you decide.

I just wonder if Keith Cousins is sat in the board room at Nene Park loverlooking this and feeling thoroughly ashamed. I feel totally sick at the thought of this, yes I know it was going to happen, but to hear that it is now taking place sickens me to the core. Shame on you Keith, you truley are the most shameless individual I have ever come across, you've sold us all down the river to line your own greedy pockets.

Re: games at NP next season
It takes a conscience to feel shame or have sleepless nights, I think our friend sadly lacks this attribute, the only thing that was likely to give him a sleepless night is losing money and he moved swiftly to secure a new tenant on that front - its business, I don't think he ever truly gave a shit for R&DFC. He's the past now, I'm fairly sure come 2015 we'll see what the end game is.Superhans wrote:my feelings exactlly i really hope he is having trouble sleeping at night ....seeing as he was such a big 'fan' when he first took overChorltonV wrote:I just wonder if Keith Cousins is sat in the board room at Nene Park loverlooking this and feeling thoroughly ashamed. Re: games at NP next season
The Griggs Group have a clawback clause which, as I understand it, means that any development on the site prior to 2015 will mean they are entitled to 50% of any increase in value on the land.
I'm not sure of all the details, but in effect if anything is built (hotel, supermarket etc) it will lead to an increase in the value of the land and half of this needs to be paid to the Griggs Group.
Like I say, not sure of all the details, but this is how I understood it - I'm sure its more complex than I've said, most things at NP seem to be
Come 2015 the site can be developed and nothing paid to Griggs'. I guess we'll see in 4 years, which incidentally is when your lease runs out - I hope Mr Pickering hasn't sold your ground off by then, you might end up like us, homeless !!

Re: games at NP next season
Hold up I thought their lease was 25 years? If it was only 4 years then they'd not be eligible for promotion, which is what their fans have been saying quite a lot about.
R.I.P Dale. We will never forget you.

I'd heard it was just 4 years, if its 25 then they should be safe eh? Maybe one of the Ploppy faithful can confirm?
