Seeing as this has turned into the Surgery.. ;) ...my advice, revision with a bunch of few close friends with similar aims/working styles to you really worked for me! And of course you have to be a loser for a month...and it's best to follow a team like RDFC last year so there's no need to spend a whole Saturday out worrying about promotion/relegation and so you can put all your nerves into the exams.

Depending on when your A2 exams are, resitting some AS exams/modules in January is no hassle and you are very likely to sort your results. Especially if the course is synoptic...

Got into Coventry University to study Geography and Natural Hazards 
My Advice: Get good results in January :P - Having to do 2 A2 resits in summer is not fun and, speaking from experience, damages grades of the summer exam.
