I thought our number 9 was good too. I thought the playing surface was very hard to play on , hard to control the ball. They shaded it with their strength I thought. But what great players we have got. Our keeper was MOM for me.
I bet the locals wondered what was happening when the traffic was queuing up to the roundabout before the game

Have to say that the flags outside the ground looked bloody marvellous. Absolutely brilliant

Can anyone help please............. living in Leamington, I would like a copy of the local newspaper that contained the match report for the AFC R&D vs Woodford game.
The reporter who was there on the night said he's bring acopy of it to the county game on the following Sunday, but I must have missed him.

I was the photographer you spoke to in the bar.
Unfortunately I was'nt there because I was covering several Youth football games, Cricket and Rugby for the ET paper in K*ttering that day and had arranged for another photographer to cover the county game at Raunds. He did not have the paper with him, but if I can remember I'm not sure if your son featured in the paper from the Woodford game anyway.
I still have all the images from the game and if you need any just drop me a PM and I'll try and sort it.
