Thanks Dave, its a great gesture by St Neots Town FC and I hope we manage to get a good number of fans along to sample your hospitality and take advantage of a Saturday afternoon game - we won't get many. I know St Neots FC stadium quite well as one of my work colleagues is based there (bpha's Community Development Officer, Katie B :D ) - cracking stadium and I'm looing forwardto watching a match there, rather than just attending work meetings :D .

I've got to work until 3pm on Saturday, but will be along straight after that, really looking forward to it. The challenge for us is getting the word out there with such short notice - so to all AFC R&D fans, spread the word !! Dont assume people will know about it, let people know.

Chris Hope has been a great friend to us while getting AFC up and running, so it'll be good to see him playing a match again !! :D

Being on a saturday we haven't been able to get many legends, as most are either playing or have some other involvement with saturday football, Starms is taking our squad and we'll even things up with St Neots to ensure a competitive match.
It's really all about raising money for the new club, St Neots have a great facility, the beer's good and the burgers very good too. It'll be a great day out.
I have a feeling it will be our first outing in our brand spanking new away kit, though don't quote me on that!
Gates open at 12 by the way as they are showing the Sky sports match in their bar.

Finally if you need transport tomorrow email Pigman via the car sharing scheme, i am sure there will be lots of half empty cars going tomorrow where you can get a lift.

<bump>

Get down to St Neots today! Hopefully a nice day weather wise as well, and a chance for some of our youngsters to play alongside some our our ex-players in a fun atmosphere.

Thanks again to St Neots Town.

Well the teams are a bit uneven! We've got what appears to be a second string U18's team out and they've got a mix between their first and reserve teams! Neil MacKenzie is playing for them and i think he scored against Diamonds last season for Tamworth?!

1-0 down at half-time though, our keeper is in inspired form! A couple of hundred or so here.

FT 5-1. Our goal from Bjorn Kleinhans. Ironically we were far more threatening second half.
