Yes we lost 3-2 but a good game to watch, but we went to sleep for the first 20 minutes of the 2nd half

That place is the ar$e end of nowhere !! ;) I've only just got back
I thought Woodford would be better than that to be honest, I think we were masters of our own downfall tonight, when we got back to 3-2 I thought we'd get at least a draw, but thanks to a great save right at the death by their keeper we were prevented from doing so.
An enjoyable evening, I even purchased a beanie hat, I look like a git in it - but who cares, it was cold

brilliant first half, took our chance and restricted Woodford, awful first 20 mins of second half were we conceded 3 goals (one very offside!) and then made a fight of it in the last 20 minutes though and almost got that equaliser we deserved!.
It's not a bad idea to play teams on a wednesday as it sort of negates the threat of players whom play at an academy who will normally have played during the day! Although we must be about player development at this level and the lads need to learn to concentrate for 90 mins.
a very enjoyable night despite the result though.

Very enjoyable game. Have read your biased views from your side so to even things up would like to add my biased views from our side. ;)
I thought Woodford dominated throughout and were never going to lose the game. The last 15 minutes were very exciting and that was when you played your best football and put us under the cosh and yes- it was a great save by our keeper that kept us in front.
Being in line with the so called off-side goal, it wasn't offside and I know your manager remonstrated with the lino at the end of the game about not being up with play, but if he had of been, it still wasn't offside.
My lad enjoyed meeting up with your keeper Ashley again, whom he was with at Northampton Town- It was pleasing to see that although they were ribbing each other throughout the match, at the end of the game they gave each other a big 'man-hug'.
(My lad by the way was the one that did all the damage in the 2nd half

)
You have the makings of a very good team but its going to be next season, not this, that you make your mark. Your players will be a match for any team once they acclimatise fully from the 'mildness' of junior football to the rough and tough game of adult football. We are experiencing the same thing in the UCL Reserves League this season where our young lads are playing against hardened men. But in a couple of seasons time, we will have 'manned-up' and will be a force to be reckoned with, as you will be next season.
Not your biggest following last night, but nice to see such good support at that level. I only wish we could get at least a 1/4 of that sort of following, but as you saw, we are a village team in the middle of nowhere and village teams will always be village teams.
