But wasn't that money being given to the club anyway? Albeit not directly.OsanoIsKing wrote: The events were organised by the fundraising committee, which i'm 95% sure would have meant the money went to the trust. I know the effort that went in to organise them and seeing nobody support the events hardly was dissapointing.

I'm sorry but the RDFC Trust's communication with the rank and file fan was diddly squat and their profile was lower than a snake's belly so I'm not surprised at the poor turn out for their race nights as well intended as they may have been. I gave up looking at their web-site when they didn't bother communicating with the fans. :twisted:OsanoIsKing wrote:

Not straight away, it was in the trusts bank account and they wouldn't give it over as far as i'm aware.BartonRaz wrote:But wasn't that money being given to the club anyway? I think the club as a whole had a bad communication problem, had done for years. After the trust had stopped running the club I guess they found it hard to get people involved.Trek wrote:I'm sorry but the RDFC Trust's communication with the rank and file fan was diddly squat and their profile was lower than a snake's belly so I'm not surprised at the poor turn out for their race nights as well intended as they may have been. Never mind ay.

That is one thing that we cannot accuse the present committee of, the communication has been excellent and i think that has helped in getting more people on board
