it is released 2 weeks early when your pre order it through one of the supported retailers. how long do you reckon the ucl update will take?

The editor is not released with the beta. However, if it is, I have pre ordered it, so will get it 2 weeks early.

The UCL update will probably take me around 2 weeks, involving other commitments.

Can somebody explain what this 'beta version' is, or am i being stupid?

Cool no rush. It will give me a chance to be a premier league club.
The beta version is an incentive to pre-order the game from one of the official suppliers on the fm website. they release it as a download via steam 2 weeks before the official release date. you can then transfer your data to the full game. i think it is just the same but some change in the plaayer stats. more depth in the data base and an update

Pretty much, yeah.

I'm planning for a first release a few weeks after the full version of FM13 is released, give me time to get it done properly.

if anyone wants me to change or add anything, they can post it here, and i'll release a new version.

Beta is released on Friday apparently.

This'll give me time to test nation rules and hopefully get it done in time for game full release.
