After a long while out in the R&D wilderness (or Birmingham as its otherwise known) I'm coming to along.

I won't be able to make all that many games though the season, but really can't miss this one, I'm excited- the first time I've actually felt excited by a football match in a long time.

Well its been one hell of a long break since our last home league game against Kiddy, even though it didn't mean a lot that last minute winner was fantastic, the sort of thing I've missed and I wouldn't mind some last minute winners like that again this season :)

Love that Thrapston's our first game being the most local football club for me, until R&D went bust I could never have imagined us playing them, but here we are looking forward to a league match against them and I couldn't be anymore excited. What are we expecting attendance wise, I guess its an unknown really, but if the youth team's support of 300/400 for the big games is anything to go by, I think we could get a very good crowd for the first senior game, 1000 would be amazing, but we'll have to see.

It would really help if all cardholders, including paying members bring along their cards and use the designated card holders turnstile (which will be the one on the left, there will be signs up).

This will help us greatly as it will help spread those paying cash through both turnstiles so we don't end up with a massive queue at one and it means you can swipe in which will help us for several reasons - we won't have to count how many people go through that turnstile as it will be recorded, we'll also know what mix of Adults/Under 16s there are and be able to see stuff like what percentage of members were there etc.

So please bring your membership card.

For those of you that have recently ordered and are waiting for them we do have a pile of envelopes so please ask at the cardholders turnstile it may well be there waiting for you. If you leave/have left it really late and placed an order i the last couple of days or only order today or tomorrow then we are unlikely to have your card ready, but I will pull a list off the database Friday night so we can manually check (so please don't leave it until Saturday morning, or too late on Friday)
