Sam is settling in nicely now. Ok all his goals have come in one game, but he is showing he is now back up to match fitness. when he first came in he did look like he was short of games, but has got some under his belt now and looking sharper.

Adam Webster is expected to be out for another few weeks yet, so I'd expect we'd be looking to extend the loan for another month, though don't worry, we could never afford to tempt him away from you :|

Can't see him being allowed to stay there longer. Especially if Osano and Tomlin get sold then the aim of the season will be beating the scum (for which Smith's help will be good given he scored both our goals against them last season) and developing younger players ready for next season, like Smith, to be ready to maybe give it a go then. The best way to do that is to give him minuites at this level ahead of players who won't be here in the long term I imagine. Players like Jefferson Louis.

I think whether Sam stays with Hinckley or not depends almost solely on who we bring in or keep. I suspect J-Lo may be leaving on 24th when his loan is up, and if we get no-one back in then i think Sam will return. IF we keep J-Lo then tbh i see no reason for Sam to return unless we get an injury crisis and if we have a recall clause. If hes not going to play for us i would much rather see him getting minutes/goals for Hinckley.

And dont worry DJHinckley, i dont see us letting you entince him away permanently anytime soon

I see that Hinckley now have a transfer embargo, so wouldn't be allowed to extend Sam's loan, even if we were prepared to allow it - http://www.hinckleytimes.net/hinckley-s ... -25556441/

It's a big shame for Sam that the bad weather has stopped him building on his 4-goal appearance for them.
