That's all very well wasteman I'm persoanlly sorry to hear this, but why ask the questions on here? It's got nothing to do with us on this forum, those people need to speak to the club. We can't do anything about it can we (much though we'd like to help)? No doubt when/ if the problem is resolved you'll be back here to let us know?

Perhaps not having the floodlights on for a noon kick off might cut down on utility bills.

Agreed! I noticed that half way through the first half! However, i seem to remember having the same debate earlier in the year. Unfortunately if the referee requests that they are on, they have to be left on, irrespective of how ridiculous that is! Just another thing we can moan about referees!!!!

I can personally vouch for the fact that staff were not paid their monthly wages last week which are now overdue. Neither was any explanation or apology offered by the club to the staff concerned.
I've no doubt that they'll convert some of the cash takings from Saturday into wages shortly but it's an appalling way to run a "business".

YES GETTING THE GAME ON.if it wasn't for these people you would not have had a game today and these are the people that SERVE you but don't get there money to pay there BILLS. bet the players got paid.
Err not being funny but ive heard catering are not only people not to be getting paid or paid on time....try talking to the footballers themselves...dont think they are getting wages on time and causing all sorts of problems rent, bills wise as well, you talk about if it werent for these people there wouldnt be a game, what about if the players dont turn up !!!! Know its happening to a lot of clubs but you would think with a club thats playing some good football this season, they would at least make sure the wages were forthcoming on time !!! ;)

Dont the lights take a time to come on properly anyway? so it would make sense to have them on before they would actually be needed?

For a NOON kick off on a beautifully bright sunny day?

Do we think that promotion would be a good thing or a bad thing from a financial point of view given the present situation at the club?

It
should be a good thing, with the increase in TV money (ANY TV money would be an increase  ) and increased gates. We would almost certainly have to strengthen the squad a little, but there's no reason we couldn't do that on a shoestring still.
That's still a massively hypothetical question at the moment though! ;)

We'd be getting around £350k a season from the FL sponsorship pool and £200k a season from the FA for youth development. At present we'll be lucky if we get £50k from the Conference sponsorship pool. It's pretty easy to see we'd be better off in the FL, but we must keep a tight rein on the finances.
