We’re really sorry about the looping last night which happened twice and interrupted our broadcast…the second time at a pretty vital moment!! We’re looking at our equipment to see if we can figure why it happens and how we can prevent it. Unfortunately we can’t tell ourselves when it’s happening…we still hear our broadcast…so big thanks to people for letting us know.

We have pretty simple straightforward kit to do the broadcast with but will be looking at it in the close season to see what we can do to improve it. Cost is an issue as we don’t have a budget, so we’re going to be looking for sponsorship to help fund any improvements. If anyone has any ideas on who might be interested let us know…

Someone texted to ask if we could go off air more often as we got 2 goals in minute while we were trying to get back on!! It was Bruce and myself on at the time and we somehow managed a re-boot between us….I am trying to encourage Bruce to record his “we’re looping we’re looping, we’re looping looping looping “ riff he did last…that guy is a legend.

Thanks for your support….it’s going to be an exciting 7 weeks of nail bitting stuff as we see the lads home to a top 2 finish so keep tuning in…

Would it work better on the 'Tunein' platform or is it just a case of the shortcomings of your equipment?

A few things;

I can only echo Paul, the kit we have is very limited, and I was having my night off last night, so wasn't around to help fix problems. I'm working on the laptop don't worry; I have a few theories, and I've got a few ideas on how to fix the constant looping, its either a glitch in the software, or the dire internet connection at the ground.

it'll be fixed soon, listen on Sunday when we will be undergoing more tests.

Without having had access to the equipment to check it myself I would suspect as Adam has mentioned it's something to do with the internet connection, although there could of course be an issue with PC hanging but the show recording should give a good indication, if it records the broadcast properly without any interruptions/sticking/looping that would tend to suggest to me it wasn't an issue with the netbook hanging.

TuneIn is a platform for receiving transmissions and has nothing to do with the broadcasting side so probably wouldn't help. Although the equipment is limited it's more than adequate for what it's being used for as it has been for a while now without problems, that's not to say with a bigger budget we couldn't splash out on some extra stuff but I have my doubts on whether that would be an instant fix for this specific problem. I'm sure we'll get to the bottom of it though.
