I'm sorry but I can't see us clawing back the goal difference on Sileby - we just don't score enough and their really tough games are behind them. We're going to need them to draw a game somewhere.

Agreed, but I think their games at home to Potton and Spencer are where the draw could come from. I think they'll bang 5 past WBC tonight.

I agree with RH, they'd totally fix it. Even if we needed them to win v Sileby I wouldn't turn up and give them my money and I hope others would do the same.

They wouldn't. Why not? Surely players wouldn't accept it? Word would get around - Whitworths is a club where they might ask you to lose a game to earn a quid or two. Whitworths would have more trouble attracting better players. Their integrity as a club would be questioned. Not to mention the fact that it would be illegal.

Added to that some of them will still be friends with players who were with Whitworths and are now with us (i.e. Dev, Jake).

Probably would be a good idea to merge this with the other thread, as a general watching the other teams' fixtures/results thread.

I was probably a bit optimistic with my prediction of 0-5!
