Still a new club that's why we had to have a new name. Chester, Darlington, Halifax and Scarborough for example also had to have a new name when they 'reformed'. ;)

That's a cracking friendly. Will be a good test, and what I'd call a proper non-league ground.

I know friendlies aren't everyone's cup of tea - and I understand that - but I hope these games are better attended than some were last season. Holwell Sports and Long Buckby for example.

I see that the Biggleswade game has become an XI friendly.

Another friendly announced an XI fixture away at Winslow United on the 19th July.
