Wow, you'd think it was a derby

What really bugs me about him is that when attacking on the edge of the box he very often easily conceeds possession despite having opportunities to lay the ball off or putting a decent cross in. We are then exposed to a quick counter attack. If he could sort out this aspect of his play then we would really have a player to be reckoned with. Two of Diamonds wrote:Personally I think Osano is still underachieving, but he's much better at centre-half than full-back. He's so "composed" (or laid back) that he's horizontal at times.
Jamie Stuart simply has to come back in IMO. Regardless of how well Osano played.Formic wrote:Curtis Osano had one of his best games IMO - and our entire back 5 played well - which will give JE the same issue he almost had for the Luton game of deciding whether to bring Jamie Stuart back.
Jefferson Louis did struggle - he seemed to suffer from the effort he put in on Wednesday, so I think he will benefit from the week's break. It would be interesting to see how Sam Smith would fit into a 4-3-3 role where he isn't relied upon as the main central striker - he did well with his runs down the right when he came on. I think that role might suit him.
Who for though? Osano took a while to get going this season but has been excellent recently (although I did think his distribution was shocking at times yesterday), Downer has been our best player over the past month IMO, Robinson is the only natural left back in the squad, and after Porter has probably been our most consistent performer this season, and Corky had two superb games in Stuart's absence, proving a more than worthy vice captain. Stuart has been excellent recently and I think Corky would (again) be the most likely player to miss out although that would be so, so harsh on him. What a fantastic selection headache to have!BartonRaz wrote:Jamie Stuart simply has to come back in IMO. Why? He's been in great form recently. :?coolcuts wrote:Simple drop Osano
