I've paid the money out now so as far as I'm concerned they can have the difference as a donation - i have confidence is our terrific board to come to a sensible decision on this, but it may take a little time as they do have lives too (believe it or not ) !!
FA cup draw day - great to be back in it isn't it

If I have got the prices right we are talking about a difference of 28p per game for adults, its about a fiver, but my maths is suspect. free Drinks vouchers maybe for those that wish to be compensated, others may not worry.
The Club can issue a apology for the loss and the fans put it down to being a part of Non League where the F.A screw around with divisions each season and leave the clubs to pick up the pieces.
I can assure everyone, that this matter is being taken seriously, the 45 emails I have received today about this subject will testify to this.
A solution will be found, so that no one feels that we have decieved them.
We could have not foreseen this situation, but we will address it asap 8-)
We have no intention of ripping off fans, as we are fans too 8-)
There won't be many fans affected by this as the season ticket price can now be amended for future sales, but what could happen is a voucher be issued for a vase or FA cup game and the club reimburse "the gate" (which is shared) by the amount of vouchers presented, personally mine would go straight in the bin, but at least those that wanted to be reimbursed could be in a fair way.
That's just my suggestion, i have every faith in our board to do the most sensible and practicable thing !

I'm a bit disappointed this has become an issue, The club will be losing out as it is with losing a fixture!! Was the club supposed to wait forever till the decision was made whether godmanchester would be in or out and we still don't know for sure whether they be replaced by Blackstones or Eynesbury, I will be renewing my season ticket at the end of the month and I'm more than happy to pay the original cost.

Brilliant. ;) I have also paid a few weeks back ;) and won't be looking for a refund. However, there are some fans who may feel they are entitled to a refund/voucher for the missing match and therefore it isn't a problem to discuss here what action could be taken by the club. That's all Ron is saying and from comments on the Members Forum the matter is being currently addressed which is the way it should be.
At the end of the day we all support the club, but have different financial abilities to do so. Some won't want it back, others will. I look at it that any extra pennies the club gets will bring the day we have our new home closer.

Agree with you entirely, Piggers. What annoys me, however, are those that because it doesn't bother them, because of their financial circumstances and their disposable income presume that it shouldn't concern some of our other fans who, as you would know may well be struggling in the current financial climate.
That's right, but if you don't have to worry too much about money, £5 here or there isn't an issue - to some it's a big deal !! I just say lets move on, trust the board to make he right decision and support them with the one they make, because as I well know, it'll be we'll debated before a decision is made and they'll make it for all the right reasons.
Lets get back to talking football - I see its rumoured the fixtures will be out on the 19th July - bring em on then I get to work out which days I'm working on and how many I'll be missing :(
