Erm, can we get Fazel on a contract please? Also whilst we're at it, can someone explain to me how this lad has not made it to a high level in the game? He's so good he looks like a professional out there at times. The way he latched on to every single Dunkley flick on was frightening and his two goals from open play were outstanding. I'm gutted he's going to miss the next 4/5 games.
Anyway, make no mistake, Sileby are in for a very very long season if they persist with such a young squad. By the looks of tonights programme they've already started cloning players to make up the numbers. They've literally lost every single player from last season and replaced them with players aged between 16-18. They grew into the game and credit where it's due they certainly played football the right way which is commendable but 8 or 9-0 wouldn't have flattered us tonight, and 8 or 9-0 it should have been.

Alfie had a groin injury. I don't know anymore than that.

This was a good result, thought we dominated against a relatively poor unorganised side, but, still showed good quality in all areas and 2 cracking goals from Koriya in his treble. The link-up play was very good and everyone played their part in a comfortable victory.
Top spot is a much coveted position and it will be a tough test to stay there.
Well done to the team.

59 goals between fazel & dunks in the strike partnership at long buckby , they of course won the league .BartonRaz wrote:Erm, can we get Fazel on a contract please? Comfortable game for us I thought, really should have been about 7 or 8 nil though. But fair play to the Sileby lads, they never gave up, and being young lads they were very nippy.
Like others have said, they'll be in for a very long season unless they get some older heads.
