For the first 40 minutes it was a very even game, mostly down to the weather I suspect. After that it was carnage. Alfie and Russ are starting to work together nicely.

Had to laugh at the Sleaford twitter page which described the penalty as 'soft'. The block from their defender on Wisniewski was anything but. A clear penalty. Referee was really poor however.

Interesting result elsewhere. Wisbech 0-4 Huntingdon - all goals came before 21 mins!

I did think we'd be alright once we scored, but it did take a while and Sleaford threatened quite a bit in the first half. Though we really are spoiled at the D&D, 15 goals in our first 3 home games of the season! Though annoyingly, we drop a place in the table, cause Spalding won 5-0 and have a GD of +10 after 3 games, whereas we're +9. And that Wisbech result is very surprising, Wednesday will be tough!

I know we go on about them quite a lot on here, but it never stops being funny does it, how can they still be so bad?!

Another very good performance, Sleaford worked hard particularly in the first half and it was nice that Dunks got us off the mark just before half-time. Plenty of efforts on goal in the second half and another 4 goals did not flatter us. Shame that we conceded a goal but I will not begrudge Sleaford for scoring that one.
Alfie is now really starting to read Dunks flicks and he looked on his game today. Our two midfielders McBride and Dent once again were very influential so King will have to be patient on the bench.

Interesting that Sleaford only had two sub's, even with it being a bank Holiday weekend, added to the behaviour if their manager makes you wonder if there is a problem there.

Lol, I just thought that after all this time sliding down the pyramid, they'd have finally managed to turn a corner at step 4, but it seems I was wrong, wonder if Jake's regretting his decision right now with only a place between us now?
