Cannot wait for this one! Yes, it involves getting a train at 7:46 at Lincoln (after celebrating a friend's birthday tomorrow night!), and not getting home till 10:45 pm, but by heck, it'll be worth it!! :D :D :D

It'll be brilliant just to see the lads walking out onto that pitch. Against a type of opposition that we've obviously never faced before, and may not again for a while (hopefully not though!), and we go there, obviously with nothing to lose. In a way, no-one expects us to win, but we all know that everything will be left out on the pitch by the lads come 4:50pm on Saturday afternoon.

Just thinking of what the atmosphere will be like gives me shivers and goosebumps right now! :) Whatever happens, it will be a fantastic day :D

Come on you Whites!!!

Will be odd chanting that (though perhaps not as odd as 'Come on you Sky Blue and Whites!' ;) ), out of interest why are we using the blue kit for this one, is it because this game was seen as a nice debut outing of the kit with it being such a big game? Not complaining, just wondering.

Dover wear white shirts and black shorts, which clashes with both our home and away kits so it's exactly the reason why we introduced a third kit.

For no other reason than every defeat we've had has been in the yellow :!: not that anyone is superstitious. Not that I can talk as wore the same shirt for all of the 22 game unbeaten run last season.
Sure someone will be on soon with the real reason. Just scrolled down & it's happened already. Though prefer my made up answer.

Not that I'm superstitious, of course  , but since we had a senior side we've only a 50% win record away from home when wearing yellow shirts, whilst we have a 100% win record wearing white shirts away from home including the important victories over Deeping and Northwood this season.

As for Sky Blue well we've never worn it before so we'll have to see. ;)
