That picture from Wilkinson on twitter was actually an extract from the match programme, not the team sheet, and bears no relation to the starting line up posted up on the Daventry twitter site. Scott Cross started and Tom Berwick was on the bench. I suspect that Daventry may have used an old programme printed for the original fixture causing this confusion. ;)

Ahh I see. It's got the forthcoming game listed correctly so it must have been newly printed, must just have been a bit of laziness on the programme editor's part.

Probably confused Jon Wilkinson as well. Most programmes nowadays don't attempt to predict the starting X1 and substitutes and just list both teams squads hence the need for team sheets after the declaration to the ref. I guess Tom Lorraine no longer features in Daventry's future plans.

Its a pity but I can see them favourites for promotion next season, that's if they don't get lucky and secure promotion this season via the playoffs.

They looked a decent team for 75/80 minutes and deserved their victory. They could and should have won by a bigger margin. The forwards are seriously quick and clinical and the midfield has a good balance of being able to guard the defence as well as push up when attacking without losing their shape. On current form they would beat us over 90 minutes. :o

Lol, one defeat to arguably the second best team in the league (they have beaten us twice remember and haven't lost nearly as many as us before anyone moans at me ;) ) after a record-breaking, almost unbeaten season with no defeats in months and he comes out with this rant towards a team that's just won the title. Surely its completely inevitable that a team who's won a league title early will be complacent in games afterwards, give your players a break ffs :roll:

At least 6 would be my guess, you forgot Boston as part of the Lincs travelling footballer set. Holbeach are the least likely as they spent everything they had and some winning the league last season so they now bob around in mid table for 7/10 years waiting till it`s their turn again. Deeping and Wisbech would be my most likely choices, Wisbech as at least they have a fan base and can generate some revenue, Deeping as ?? god knows but sure Mr W will tell us all.

Lets hope Mr Payments rant inspires his team to a big win against Huntingdon today.
